OBJECTIVES
| Coordinate the efforts of scholars, musicians, and educators to promote Latin American classical music, beginning with the solo vocal repertoire also known as art song (see LAASA.ORG). Work with organizations where my language skills, research experience, music interests, and computer skills are valuable, and where more experience can be gained in the areas of international copyright laws, sheet music publishing and electronic forms of music distribution.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND INTERESTS
- I love to sing! I have studied with teachers Joyce Berger, Dr. Thomas Goleeke, Ricardo Catena, April Duvic, and am currently working with Judith Sagun at the University of Portland. At the University of Puget Sound, I sang the roles of Arminda in La Finta Giardiniera and Fiordiligi in Cosí fan tutte, both operas by Mozart. See a headshot.
- The eldest of eleven children, I know the value of a good example, hard work, generosity, organization, and teamwork.
- I enjoy traveling and have gained valueable skills abroad (i.e. how to travel safe and inexpensively, find people, places, and track down information in a foreign country)
- I have gained valuable communication and presentation skills through positions of responsibility at my church. I know how to coordinate efforts and achieve mutual goals by listening to others, resolving concerns, and following up after commitments have been made.
