Here are some lessons you might cross reference with conference talks. Also listed are scripture mastery "clues" for chasing from October Conference talks. Direct quotations from SM verses are noted with (*). All others are implied. I have used gold foil stars or flourescent label dots in my November Ensign to mark where the scripture mastery clues are found. That way, I use the clue straight from the conference issue...reading around the actual scripture passage for context.

It was at a Seminary Graduation in 1995 that Pres. Hickley said to the youth:
"The best lies ahead...If you will stay on the straight and narrow, the best lies ahead. It is a wonderful time to be alive. It's a great time to be a member of this Church when you can hold your head up without embarrassment and with some pride in this great latter-day work." (Quoted on by Virginia U. Jenson, En. Nov. 1998 p. 14)
